About Me

Who I Am…

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Michigan. Kinesiology is ‘the study of human movement,’ so I have a unique understanding of the body and how it is designed to move. In addition, I have advanced certifications in biomechanics and post-rehabilitation. Exercising with the RIGHT exercises in the RIGHT way for your body makes all the difference. You’ll prevent injury and make your body look AND function better.

For 15+ years, I have held certifications from ACE (American Council on Exercise) as a Personal Trainer and a Group Fitness Instructor. As a personal trainer, instructor, and wellness coach, I’ve taught hundreds of classes and trained many individuals from all walks of life. Younger, older, those with disability, others preparing for military life…I’ve had the privilege of helping many different folks make lasting change in their lives.

Pre-COVID, I taught 20+ classes per week for a number of years at a premiere facility aimed at individuals over the age of 50. I trained many folks dealing with a variety of needs (post-rehabilitation, low back issues, knee and hip replacements, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease).  And I’ve also helped people find their own path to a healthy lifestyle as a wellness coach.
